Late Iron Age - early Roman copper alloy Langton Down bow brooch, 19mm long, 15mm wide and 5mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 1.48grams. It consists of part of a circular sectioned wing with the upper part of a rectangular shaped and curved bow. The bow is decorated with a series of vertical depressions running its length.
The brooch is similar to examples in Hattatt, R. A visual catalogue of ancient brooches, page 306, fig 165 and is dated to the first century.

Iron age or Roman copper alloy brooch fragment, 35mm long, 8mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 1.56grams. The object represents the sub triangular catchplate and part of the bow of a brooch, It has a rectangular section which may suggest a Le Tene style example?
