Early Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) copper alloy harness fitting fragment, 27mm long, 25mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 10.05grams. The object consists of an oval loop which has a sub triangular section, the widest part forming the reverse. At the wide edge of the object is a sub circular knop, smaller versions of which appear at each side as well. The other long edge has the remains of a rectangular sectioned shaft which has broken off.

Medieval copper alloy harness fitting, possibly a harness link, 57mm long, 41mm wide and 5mm thick. The object is in poor condition, being very worn and has a dark green patina and weighs 19grams. The object is incomplete but is essentially an inverted T shape. It has a central trefoil terminal which sits at the end of the vertically aligned shaft which is triangular in form with rounded sides. Anglo-Saxon copper alloy and gold horse-harness fitting, 49mm long and 40mm wide. The object appears to be in a fair condition with a dark green patina. The object resembles an axe in form, with the top edge being semi-spherical and 40mm wide. The sides taper inwards in a curving arc to a flat base 20mm wide. The surface has a raised border, 5mm wide and the whole area within is decorated with Salin Style II interlace picked out in gold. A similar fitting is illustrated in Fern, C. 'The archaeological evidence for equestrianism in early Anglo-Saxon England, c.450-700' fig.5.15.5

Early Medieval (Anglo Scandinavian) copper alloy strap junction fragment, 28mm long 21mm wide and 4mm thick. The object weighs 4.85 grams and has a green patina. It represents one arm of a 'cross' shaped junction designed to hold together harness straps. It consists of a circular opening 9mm in diameter, set into a diamond shape which has three triangular protrusions on three corners, the fourth extends into a shaft with a triangular section. The object is broken here, where it would have joined three identical parts.

Early Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) harness link made from copper alloy, now 62 mm long and 27 mm wide. The link has a lozenge-shaped terminal at one end which is slightly domed (5 mm high) and has a hollow reverse. The terminal has a rectangular aperture and a knob at each of angle, one at the far end and one each at the sides, next to the short ends of the rectangular aperture. Early Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) copper alloy strap distributor, 63mm long and wide and 13mm thick. The object is in good condition with a red/brown patina and has a weight of 39.64 grams. The object is cross shaped with a central domed boss. Each arm is semi-circular in cross- section and widens to accomodate a triangular terminal containing an oval shaped hole. The terminal has rounded, domed knops at each point. The loops would have held leather harness straps and were usually placed at the side of a horses head.

The object consists of a shaft 6mm wide, which is semi-circular in section and has a raised area in its centre. On either side are two lozenge shaped terminals, each has an oval hole in its centre C.10mm in diameter. each corner of the terminals has a raised blob. This object is identical to those illustrated in Williams, D. Late Saxon Stirrup mounts, CBA 1997.

The object consists of a a semi-circular sectioned bar which swells in the centre to form a central boss with a semi-spherical section. This has triangular protrusions at right angles to the main bar, which terminate in slightly rounded knops.
