Roman copper alloy Polden Hill bow brooch, 19mm in length, 23mm wide, with a weight of 6.59g.
The brooch has short open wings decorated with vertical ridges which house a spring of 12 coils partly obscured by iron corrosion. It has a D cross sectioned bow which sits on a small rounded platform and tapers sharply. Its lower bow and catchplate are missing.

Three Roman copper alloy Polden Hill bow brooches,
Upper image = 38mm in length, 16mm wide, with a weight of 6.41g. an almost complete brooch, missing its pin, with circular cross sectioned wings and a tapering bow with a raised ridge decorated with transverse incised lines.
Lower image, top = 19mm in length, 9mm wide, with a weight of 3.85g. incomplete, small open wings, missing its spring.
bottom= 20mm in length, 14mm wide, with a weight of 5.77g. Brooch with intact spring and ridge on upper bow.

Roman copper alloy trumpet brooch. 32mm in length and 15mm in width. It weighs 3.09g.
The brooch has a roughly oval shaped head with a flat area behind to house a spring, now missing. The circular cross sectioned bow emerges from the front of the head and curves around, tapering in width. Below the point it has curved is a stylised 'acanthus scroll' decoration consisting of three rounded projections, the central one larger. Below this the plain bow continues to taper and has broken before the catch plate emerges.

Three Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative, hinged type brooch fragments, dating from the period AD 50-100. All of these brooch fragments have short projecting circular cross sectioned wings with hinges. All are partial, with the D shaped cross sectioned bows of each missing their ends. One of the brooch fragments has the remnants of a pin on the back, and the other has a ridge running down the length of the bow. The third brooch has very short wings with significant iron corrosion across its width.

The object represents the upper half of a brooch. It has a circular shaped and D cross sectioned head which houses a spring of 3 coils. The bow emerges from this and has a D shaped cross section, widening out to accommodate a double raised collar. At this point the object has broken.

Iron Age copper alloy bow brooch, 63mm in length, 16mm wide, 8mm thick with a weight of 12.25g.
The brooch has a sub rectangular head which is formed of a spring of four coils. Below this it has a curved bow with a D shaped cross section and incised linear border on its outer face. The terminal (toe) turns backwards and has a D shaped cross section and terminates with two flat circular motifs, the outer one slightly smaller, and this terminates in a small sub rectangular knop. The brooch fits Adams type 1c. See SF-FA2893.

Medieval copper alloy harness pendant, 39mm in length, 24mm wide, 7mm thick with a weight of 7.19g.
The pendant is scutiform (rectangular upper portion, triangular lower) and has an incomplete transverse suspension loop in the centre of its upper surface. It is decorated with a rampant lion with a probable bend sinister behind.
It is similar to an example in Museum of London Medieval catalogue, type I, 2a.

Medieval copper alloy spur strap or book fitting? 65mm in length, 8mm wide, 3mm thick with a weight of 9.18g.
The object is rectangular in form and cross section with a slightly rounded long edge. At one end it has a rectangular hole, forming a buckle loop. It has two small circular holes one just behind the loop and the other at the far end. It has no obviosu decoration.
The object is most likely a fitting for a spur strap but could also be a book strap fitting.
