2 Medieval or post Medieval lead alloy tokens from the same location.Both are circular in form and rectangular in cross section.
The smaller one is 18mm in diameter, 2mm thick and weighs 4.24g. It has decoration on one side consisting of a raised cross with two raised chevrons in each quarter.
The larger one is 27mm in diameter, 3mm thick and weighs 8.38g. It is decorated on both sides, one has a large relief six petalled flower motif and the other has a W or overlapping chevron with a small circle, positioned just to the right of its upper centre.

The object is circular in form and sub-semi-circular in cross section. It is slightly domed and hollow and is decorated with a thin raised cross dividing it into quarters, with each one being filled with slightly different decoration, two have irregular crosses, one has a chevron and one a rectangle?
The form is unusual, but the decoration implies a token.

Medieval to post medieval lead alloy boy bishop token, 15mm in diameter with a weight of 2.12grams.
The obverse depicts a mitre in a solid border with an inscription. The reverse has a long cross and pellets in each quarter with an incription mimicking a sterling penny.
During medieval winter solistices it became a Christian tradition for each town to elect a Boy Bishop whom was paraded around on processions. In the processions, lead tokens were handed out to the crowd to celebrate the event. This is based on the Roman celebration 'Feast of Saturnalia' which was where society …

Late medieval to post medieval cast uniface lead-alloy circular token of Powell Class 12. Thickness: 2 mm, diameter: 27 mm, weight: 14.41 grams.
The token is circular in form and rectangular in cross section. It is a 'Millstone' type, decorated on one face with a series of parallel ridges, arranged into four sets so they form chevrons radiating from the centre.
Tokens such as this are locally produced and very hard to date, hence the broad date range,

Post Medieval lead alloy token, 22mm in diameter and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 6.10grams. The object is circular and has been partially cut through. On one side it has a raised number 1599 flanked by two borders of cross hatching. There is also a pierced hole near the edge next to the start of the number. The otherside has a central motif with curved edges, but it is worn. The style of the numbers suggest they represent a date and that the object is possibly a date tag for something, given the hole.

The object is a piedfort or piéfort striking of the coin-type known as the double parisis of Charles IV the Fair, King of France (1322-1328). This version of the type was originally introduced in 1323. The reference to the coin is J. Duplessy, Les monnaies françaises royales (1988) no. 244b; an alternative reference work, J. Lafaurie, Les monnaies des rois de France (1951), no. 248b, records piedfort strikings from the Bibliothèque Nationale collection, as well as coins, and in it there are listed three piedforts of this general denomination. The object narrows above the terminals before widening out to form a barrel shape which is decorated with a raised border at each edge and an incised line. To this is attached a circular sectioned rectangular shaped loop.

Iron age /Roman copper alloy toggle, 26mm long, 11mm wide and 9mm thick. The object is in good condition and weighs 10.95grams. The object is sub rectangular in form and semi-circular in section. It has a flat base and its upper surface is formed of two semi spherical ends which are joined by a raised collar with a slight indentation across its centre.
The object is very similar to SWYOR-A91385 except that example is circular.

Iron age copper alloy clothes fastener, 23mm in diamater and 9mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 11.01 grams. The object is rectangular in form and circular in section. It consists of an outer 'collar' which is 4mm in diameter and 3mm thick, at each end. This contains a shaft which is shaped like two squashed spheres with each sphere having the base of a shaft emerging from it. This part would have formed a loop with which the fastener was attatched to clothing

Iron age copper alloy toggle 27mm long and 12mm wide, with a weight of 11.71 grams. The object consists of two circular terminals, 12mm in diameter and 4mm deep which have rounded outer edges. Between this is a shaft 18mm long which widens considerably in the middle, from 7mm to 11mm in diameter. This accomodates a recessed circle, 8mm in diameter on one side which may have held enamel. Roman copper alloy toggle, 14mm long, 12mm high and 6mm wide. It weighs 1.7 grams and has a greenish corroded surface. The toggle is sub rectangular with rounded edges. 1/3rd of the way along the underside is a triangular stalk with the remains of a suspension loop (now broken) at the lower end. This is best described as a toggle but the asymmetry is unusual. Dating is also difficult but it could well be Roman.
