Early Medieval Copper alloy stirrup mount, 43mm high and 26mm wide. The mount is triangular in shape with a prominent point. The lower edge curves downwards at its outer edge. It is very worn and only traces of its pattern can be seen, but it matches a Williams Class A, Type 8. The flange, has been snapped off and the two rivet holes that are present just above this are filled with corrosion. There is a single rivet hole present in the upper centre 14mm from its tip.

Roman Copper alloy Polden Hill brooch of flat wing ends type. The brooch is missing its catchplate, pin and spring. The brooch has very short wings which protrude about 8mm from the main body, the upper edge of the left one is missing, but there is the trace of a pierced plate at the end of the wing. There is a wide, bulbous bow which arches steeply giving the brooch a height of 13mm. It is 38mm long and 26mm wide. There is no obvious decoration on the brooch.

A Medieval Copper alloy Key, dating to AD 1150 - 1450. 108mm long and 30mm wide. The key is a hollow tube which is slightly flattened at its lower end. Here the mechanism consists of two pins? 5mm wide and 20mm from the edge of the key. The upper one branches into two pins, a small broken one points upwards for 2mm. The other projects at a 90o to the shaft for about 10mm. Medieval copper alloy ewer spout, 52mm long, 52mm wide and 16mm thick. The spout is in good condition with a brown patina. It is in the form of a dog with his mouth forming the spout. The head is quite stylised with no traces of eyes. It has rounded ears, one is slightly larger than the other. Behind the head the object curves sharply upwards and then forms a very elongated, curved spout which forms the majority of the object.

It has an unusual form with two rounded ends which then taper in gradually before forming an oval shaped protrusion in its centre. The whole upper surface is decorated with incised organic scrolls which are picked out in gilding. It has the remains of a staple shaped fitting on its underside which protrudes for 32mm.

Early post medieval Copper alloy token, 16mm in diameter and 1mm thick. It commemorates the raising of the Royal standard at Nottingham on 22nd August 1642. The obverse shows a sword surrounded by the legend VICTORY AND HONOUR. The reverse shows an illustration of a large rock with the inscription FIXT ON A ROCKE. A five pointed star with central mullet breaks up the inscriptions on each side. The object is in good condition with a brownish patina and is apparently very rare. Roman copper alloy Trumpet-derivative brooch, 38mm long and 15mm wide. The brooch has a small trumpet head which tapers down to a slim shaft. Its central section is made up of a pelta shaped motif sitting on a raised central circle. Beneath this the shaft which is 4mm wide, continues for 10mm and terminates in an upturned foot. The brooch may have been enamelled, but no traces survive. The brooch has a spring of 4 coils and its catchplate, which is 8mm long and 4mm wide. It also has a loop 6mm wide attached to its upper surface. Similar to 454 Fig 188 in Hattatts ancient brooches.

Roman copper alloy trumpet brooch, 54mm long and 19mm wide. The brooch has been crudely cast and is decorated with a very stylised acanthus leaf pattern at the top of its bow. Above and below this is a series of horizontal incised lines forming a border. There is also a similar design on the foot. The brooch has three ridges running down its length between the upper decoration and the foot which gives it a triangular section. part of the catchplate is intact and the brooch has a sping which is fused onto the body. It is similar to 947 Fig 187 in hattatts ancient brooches.

Anglo-Saxon copper alloy cruciform brooch, 84mm long and 73mm wide. The upper half is present, the head plate has trapezoidal wings and the central panel has a border of incised dots. It has fixed semi-circular top and side knobs which are decorated with incised lines. The bow is plain and beneath it are curved lappets which have a notch cut out of their upper surface. The brooch ends at the half round panel, which is decorated with several horizontal incised lines. It has an intact single pin lug and catchplate. It is similar to a Mortimer type D from Empingham.

Late saxon silver penny of Baldred of Kent, 19mm in diameter, 1mm thick and 1.15grams in weight. The penny is a Group I bonnet type penny which dates to 823-825 and shows a bonneted bust facing right. The inscription reads +BELDRE[D]R[EX CA]NT. The reverse shows a two line inscription reading DRUR/CITS which is surrounded by the moneyers inscription [SIGE]STEFMONET. The coin is in good overall condition but fragile. Three sections of the edge have broken off which makes reading the full inscription difficult.
