Early Medieval or Medieval lead alloy whorl or weight? Thickness: 7 mm, diameter: 25 mm, weight: 38.27 grams.
The object is circular in form and semi-circular in cross section. From below it has one clear central circular hole which is flanked by three smaller circular holes to one side. From above the object has a mis-shapen central hole, the surface around this appears to have been flattened? and this is flanked by four smaller holes.
