A base silver Roman radiate of Gallienus (AD 253-268), joint reign, dating to the period AD 253-260 (Reece period 12). VIRTVS AVG reverse type depicting the Emperor standing right with outstretched arm and transverse sceptre, facing Roma standing left holding wreath in right hand, and long vertical spear in left, shield resting on the ground. Second Eastern mint. As Cunetio p. 132, no. 1878; RIC V.1 p. 104, no. 457.

Roman denarius of Julia Domna, LAETITIA reverse. The dark colour of the coin and green pitting of the reverse suggests the coin may be a contemporary copy in base silver. The coin is in fair condition, is 16mm in diameter and weighs 2.73g.
