At one end these merge into the main body where it is now broken. Just below this the ridges have linear depressions across the object, forming two collar like decorative motifs. It is at its widest beyond this point and then it tapers to a now incomplete point 2mm in diameter which has a small flat sub rectangular projection 1mm thick.

It is triangular in form and D shaped in cross section. Its wide broken end has a curved recess to take an intaglio and the upper surface is decorated on each edge with a wide concave band which is gilded and inside this is a narrow incised line. These converge as the object narrows to its loop. This is probably matches by a similar one around the edge of the bezel. The object is very worn.
