Roman? or later silver finger ring, 26 mm in diameter, 7mm wide and 3-4mm thick with a weight of 9.61g. The object consists of a thick loop which is decorated with a series of sub triangular transverse ridges , three of which (at cardinal points) are decorated with an incised transverse line, each side of its ridge. The object may be a male finger ring. It was found in a concentration of Roman material whose make up suggests a newly discovered temple site.

Roman silver finger ring fragment, 18mm long, 4mm wide and 2mm thick (hoop) with a weight of 2.48grams. The ring comprises the bezel and 'shoulder' fragment of the hoop. The bezel is oval in form (11mm long, 9mm wide and 6mm high) and rectangular in cross section. When viewed from the side, where it attaches to the hoop, it has a trapezoidal cross section, flaring outwards to the upper edge. Roman silver finger ring, 24mm in diameter, 11mm wide at the bezel and 3mm thick with a weight of 10.42grams The loop is oval in cross section with no decoration and it widens to form an oval bezel with a flat upper surface housing an oval depression 12mm long and 8mm wide. This would have contained an intaglio or similar which is now missing. The ring is of Henig's type III (2007, 9) and Guiraud's type 2d (2003, 79), a type dated to the second to third century AD. Roman silver finger ring fragment with a snake head terminal 18mm long, 6mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 1.10grams. The object consists of a plain band which has a rectangular cross section. This widens to accommodate a slightly domed oval shaped snake head. The head is very worn but has the distinct globular terminal at its end and behind this has four rounded protrusions surrounding a W shaped depression to represent scales. Late Medieval / early post medieval silver gilt finger ring, 22mm in diameter and 2.5-6mm wide. The object is in fair condition and weighs 3.39grams. The hoop of the ring has a raised surface which twists diagonally across its surface in a rope effect. One of the raised areas becomes a ridge seperating the bezel into two halves, each side of the bezel has a figure engraved into it, aligned so they face each other. The ring appears to be made from base silver with a gilded surface and it has possible enamel or niello inlay on one of its shoulders.
