Post medieval silver gilt finger ring, 29mm long, 4mm wide and 1mm thick with a weight of 0.77g.
The ring appears to be complete but the band has broken and is quite fragile. It has a slightly rounded outer surface and this is decorated all over with a series of raised diagonal bands, c.0.5mm wide, which have a row of three raised dots in between. The inner surface is flat and is engraved with the inscription BE MINDFVL OF ME, with the B right on the left broken edge (as shown in the photo). The style of lettering suggests a 17th C date.
