Fragment of a silver object, probably originally a disc-shaped pendant. The fragment comprises a piece of silver sheet with no intact edge, decorated with repousse ornament creating five radiating lines of dots which converge in the centre of the fragment. The decoration upon this fragment, its form and its association with a grave assemblage suggests it could derive from a silver sheet disc-shaped or 'scutiform' pendant, similar to those illustrated in MacGregor and Bolick (1993) figs. 25.3-5, p. 162. Late Early Medieval silver coin pendant. The pendant is formed of a small silver coin and has a large loop, 4mm x 4mm, with decorated with a raised border and central ridge (fluted). This flares slightly where it meets the coin and has a triangular terminal which is fixed to the coin with a silver rivet. The coin is a silver penny of Edward the Confessor (1042-66), small flan type (c.1048-50; North 818). Moneyer: Brunwine, mint: Stamford. The bust is partly obscured but is closest to bust form e. Late Medieval silver coin altered to form a pendant. The object is made from approximately a quarter of a double Patard of Philip the Fair, Duke of Burgundy (1482-1506) of the second issue (1485; van Gelder and Hoc 61-6), minted in Brabant. Ref: van Gelder and Hoc 1961. It has been roughly shaped to form a heart motif by removing a V shaped section from the centre of its outer edge and rounding the outer corners. Early Medieval (Viking) silver Thor's hammer, 29 mm long, 21 mm wide at head and 4 mm thick. The object is T-shaped and consists of a sub-rectangular head which comes to a slight point in the centre of its upper edge, and tapers gently in width to its straight edges. This sits on a tapering shaft, sub-rectangular in cross-section, which holds the remnants of a broken suspension loop at its terminal. The head is decorated with sub-rectangular punchmarks, four arranged in a square in its centre and three in a row on each side. Three of the punches appear to have round pellets within them.

Silver crescent shaped pendant, 34mm wide and 19mm high. The object has a hanging loop which is ridged and has been soldered onto the central section of the crescent, forcing the points to hang downwards. It is decorated with seven silver balls. Large balls, 3mm in diameter, are attached to the tips of the crescent. The rest are 2mm in diameter with one attached to the loop and a further two on each side bewteen this and the tips.
