Post Medieval silver stud or cufflink, 15mm in diameter, 9mm long and weighing 2.67g. The object is formed of two slightly domed circular plates which are joined together by a circular cross sectioned shaft. Its upper surface has an edge c.3mm deep which turns outwards to form a decorative lip. Its has a slightly raised plain border and within this is a 'flaming heart' motif sitting over crossed arrows in a stippled background.
