Early Medieval silver and gold circular pin head, 28mm in diameter and 2mm thick. The object weighs 5.40grams and is in good condition with a silver patina. It is decorated on one surface with four intertwined beasts. The upper two face each other and the lower two face away. Each have two limbs, one long and one short. all the short limbs meet in the centre of the circle, while the longer limbs merge into an interlace pattern which is largely oval in form with the two limbs forming a cross over the top.
