Medieval lead pilgrims ampulla. The ampulla is bag shaped with protrusions suggesting side lugs. It is decorated on one side with several incisions similar to a shell. The back of the object shows a faint raised lattice pattern.

Medieval lead ampulla fragment, 33mm long, 22mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 17.20grams. The fragment represents the lower part of a bag shaped ampulla and is decorated on both sides. One has a series of 'petal's picked out with raised lines which are arranged in a circle. The other has a sub rectangular area which is filled with raised hatching.

Medieval lead pilgrims ampulla, measuring 33mm long, 28mm wide, 12mm thick, and weighs 28.36 grams. Object is rounded with the upper part of flask bent back and damaged. Rear face is decorated with narrow ridges in a shell design, and the front face has a petal like border, within which is a crowned motif with fine incised lines surrounding. Object in in fair condition, but incomplete, missing its handle.

Medieval lead alloy ampulla fragment, 33mm long, 20mm wide and 10mm thick. The object is in good condition with a grey patina and weighs 10.76grams. The object consists of the lower half of a bagged shaped ampulla which has been cleanly cut in half. The object is decorated on one side with a relief scallop shell pattern.

Medieval lead ampulla, 63mm long, 35mm wide and 7mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a grey patina and weighs 68grams. The ampulla is 'bag' shaped with a long neck and circular bag. There are traces of a small circular loop on one side of the neck and the surface is decorated on one side with raised lines probably representing a scallop shell.

Medieval lead alloy ampulla, 47mm long, 36mm wide and 10mm deep. The ampulla is in good condition with a white patina. It is in the form of a shell and is complete except for one missing lug. The ampulla has traces of decoration on one side in the form of a raised outline of a five petalled flower or star.

Lead ampulla 49mm high, 33mm wide and 12mm thick. The object is round at the base becoming oblong and tapering out slightly towards the top, forming the shape of a leather pouch (or purse) on the left side one of the handles is still present. The whole object is decorated with a geometric pattern formed of straight lines. it may have a stylised plant in the middle as shapes resembling leaves are present. Recorded at the Hidden Treasures roadshow in Market Harborough.
