It consists of a damaged short circular tube, which has slight rectangular shaped projections at two opposite sides and a third side has a sub rectangular diagonally positioned projection. This widens and has a slight lip at its rectangular outer surface and its longer surface curves upwards, so that the whole resembles a short hammer head. The object is part of a barrel tap.

Post Medieval copper alloy trade weight, 7mm thick and 29mm in diameter with a weight of 28.03g. The object is circular in form and rectangular in cross section with a rectangular cross sectioned lip around its upper edge. Inside this lip the object has a circular depression c.6mm in diameter and is stamped with an Adverpois (A), a sword in St Georges crest, a ewer and a crowned W. It weighs just under 1 ounce, which was issued as a new weight standard from 1826. This one is from the reign of William IV, dating it to 1830-7.

Post Medieval copper alloy buckle, 24mm in length, 24mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 3.58g. The object is rectangular in form and cross section and is one half of double looped buckle. It has a trapezoidal frame which has rounded projections at each corner and at each end of the central pin bar. Its wider outer edge has an incised line running centrally down the frame and this has a centrally placed short line, projecting out at a right angle onto a central triangular projection which acts as a pin rest. The buckle matches e.g.s. 523-25, P.84 in Whitehead, R. Buckles 1250-1850.

Two post Medieval copper alloy buckles, The larger intact buckle measures 51mm in length, 31mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 10.78grams. The smaller fragment measures 30mm in length, 28mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 5.54grams Both are double looped and of an openwork form, with a series of slightly raised dots forming a border. The intact one has a series of four large and four small holes in its frame. They are both very similar and possibly the same date as the series of rectangular shoe buckles illustrated in Whitehead, R. 'Buckles' p. 80 and 85.

The plate has a straight upper edge with a semi-spherical knop below each end. Below the knops the object consists of a an openwork trefoil knot, with the space above providing a fixing hole. below the lower, central loop is a D cross sectioned hook which is decorated with a flat oval motif where it joins the loop. The object fits Read class E, type 5, e.g.s. 436-39. See also SUR-464EF1.
