Early post medieval Copper alloy token, 16mm in diameter and 1mm thick. It commemorates the raising of the Royal standard at Nottingham on 22nd August 1642. The obverse shows a sword surrounded by the legend VICTORY AND HONOUR. The reverse shows an illustration of a large rock with the inscription FIXT ON A ROCKE. A five pointed star with central mullet breaks up the inscriptions on each side. The object is in good condition with a brownish patina and is apparently very rare. Post medieval copper alloy coin weight, 21mm long, 22mm wide and 4mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 11.6 grams. It is rectangular in form and section and decorated on both sides. The obverse contains the numerals XXXIII and the reverse contains the Royal shield in a circular, rose decorated, border. The weight dates from 1612 to 1632 and is a weight for a rose ryal.
