Medieval gilt copper-alloy swivel mount, 41 mm long, 8 mm wide and 7 mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a weight of 5.85grams. The object is rectangular in form and section and is almost complete. It consists of a central circular collar, 8 mm high, which would have held formed one have of the swivel mechanism. On either side of this the bar consists of ornate U shaped sections with serif like terminals. Late Medieval copper alloy vessel foot, 24mm long, 26m wide and 18mm thick with a weight of 18.97 grams. The object is roughly cast and has a triangular form and an oval cross section. It has an oval base which tapers steeply to form a rectangular cross sectioned shaft, which tapers in width to a point where it is broken.

A Post medieval copper-alloy button, dating to AD 1500 - 1800. Thickness: 10 mm, diameter: 20 mm, weight: 4.48 g. The button his formed of a domed circular shaped plate which is decorated with an incised circle surrounding a central ciecular depression. It has a rectangular shaped and cross sectioned shafter emerging from the centre of its base. This has a circular hole taking up most of it.

Roman copper alloy finger ring, 17mm in diameter, 11mm wide and bezel and 2mm thick. The ring is in fair condition, missing part of its band, and weighs 2.01grams. The bezel is oval in form and rectangular in section and is decorated with four sub triangular cells which once held enamel. It has plain shoulders which taper in width to form the band. Dr Lindsey Smith comments on OXON-B47D97 : Enamelled finger-rings appear to be a product of the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. Robert Kenyon, following on from the work by the French scholars P-A. Besombes and M. Bompaire (in Trésors Monétaires XXI, 2005), is working through the British examples of Claudian coinage recorded through the PAS assigning many so-called Claudian contemporary copies to Roman auxiliary mints which operated at Lyons (Gaul) and in Spain. This example is a native copy.

The object is rectangular in form and cross section and has a cruciform central hole and cut away corners. Between the edge of the cruciform hole the outer edge there are rectangular recesses on one surface of three sides which would have accommodated small strap fittings, see NCL-CCD0F4.

Medieval copper alloy casket key, Length: 36 mm, width: 13 mm, thickness: 3 mm, weight: 3.96 g. The key has a circular shaped flat loop with a slightly off central circular hole. This sits above an oval cross sectioned rectangular shaped shaft which has an integral bit. This is rectangular in form and cross section and has a small rectangular depression in the centre of the top and bottom. The end of the shaft has a pointed projection c.5mm long.

Roman copper alloy thistle brooch, Length: 41 mm, width: 25 mm, thickness: 6 mm, weight: 8.66 g The brooch was found in two fragments which join. It has a circular cross sectioned, rectangular shaped hollow headplate which sits above a flat backplate. This has a circular upper half and a trapezoidal shpaed lower half. The reverse of this section houses the catchplate which is sub rectangular in form. The top part has traces of possible tinning/silvering on its surface, but the object appears to be misssing a front plate as there are no traces of decoration?
