Post Medieval copper alloy handle? 62mm long, 10mm wide and 11mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 23.25grams. It is rectangular in form and section and has chamferred corners. One end has a flat edge behind a circular 'collar'. This edge contains a sub rectangular scar, suggetsing a blade or another shaft? The object widens at a point off its centre and here there are two recessed bands. The other end terminates in a sub circular knop.

Post Medieval copper alloy dress hook, 40mm long, 22mm wide and 1.5mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 3.89 grams. It is flat and consists of an oval shield which has two circular fixing loops, 3mm in diameter, sitting on either side of a rectangular fixing loop, 12mm wide and 8mm deep. at the opposite end are the remains of a third fixing loop which has snapped. A Post medieval sword belt fitting, dating to c.AD 1500 - 1700. Length: 29 mm, width: 20 mm, thickness: 3 mm, weight: 4.45 g. The object is sub recatngular in form and rectangular in cross section. The object is incomplete and comprises a trefoil shaped terminal which houses a central iron rivet. The object widens from here forming a now triangular shape, having broken at its now base. It is has foliate incised decoration on one surface. If was found very close to LEIC-F30838, possibly part of a set?

Early post medieval Copper alloy token, 16mm in diameter and 1mm thick. It commemorates the raising of the Royal standard at Nottingham on 22nd August 1642. The obverse shows a sword surrounded by the legend VICTORY AND HONOUR. The reverse shows an illustration of a large rock with the inscription FIXT ON A ROCKE. A five pointed star with central mullet breaks up the inscriptions on each side. The object is in good condition with a brownish patina and is apparently very rare. Early Post Medieval copper alloy and gold button, 11mm long and 9mm in diameter. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 1.24 grams. The button consists of a solid sphere with a protruding loop attachment, which is damaged. It appears to be decorated with a floral or foliate pattern which is picked out in gold, traces of which can just be seen.

The object consists of a sub rectangular loop which sits above an openwork design of three overlapping loops. These are decorated to resemble ropework and below them is a large curved hook. The object is oval in form and has a central oval sectioned shaft emerging from the centre of the reverse, which has snapped off. The matrix consists of a raised circle with four points coming off at right angles. in between these are curving lines or rays and the whole is surrounded by a raised border.

Post medieval copper alloy signet ring pipe tamper, 48mm long, 23mm wide and weighs 62gms. The object consists of a bronze ring which has a circular bezel incorporating the initials WD with incised stars and crescents above and below. Opposite the bezel is a small hexagonal? shaft which widens gently and terminates in a stepped circular plate which forms the tamper. This style of object dates to the late 17th and early 18th centuries.

It is almost complete and is decorated on the outer surface with a foliate pattern which may have been tinned. Thee are two small circular holes in each end which are respected by the decoration.

The object has glass fragments melted into its surface which would suggest that both materials have been burnt together at a high temperature, possibly in a furnace. Post Medieval copper alloy belt mount, 27mm long, 11mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 2.03grams. The mount consists of a sub triangular loop with a rectangular section, this has two curved protrusions flanking its 'point'. Below this is a trefoil terminal. The mount has one intact rectangular sectioned rivet and the trace of another at the opposite end. Brian Read has dated this type of mount to the 17th C.(p.28 fig.300).
