Roman copper alloy cosmetic or medical? implement, 50mm long and 10mm in diameter. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 13.07grams. The object begins with an integral circular suspension loop which sits on an oval sectioned protrusion which has incised decoration around its widest part. Below this are three further rounded sections and one more oval protrusion with incised decoration. The object becomes hexagonal in section and tapers slightly in width. Each face is decorated with diagonal incised lines which alternate their axis, forming a herringbone patter…

Roman copper alloy ligula? 121mm long and 6mm wide. The object is in good condition with a brown patina and weighs 5.62 grams. The object consists of a long thin circular shaft which has snapped recently at one end. An oviod terminal found close by appears to fit. The other end is decorated with a slightly raised collar, formed of two discs. Above this the object widens to form an 'onion' shaped protrusion, above which is another protruding collar. The object then becomes flattened and widens into a triangular shaped with a flat terminal. it is indented on one side, forming a hollow scoop.

Roman copper alloy cosmetic implement? 93mm in length and 4mm wide, with a weight of 5.07grams. The object consists of a circular cross sectioned shaft which tapers to a point at one end and flattens out to form a 'lozenge' shaped flat plate with a pointed end at the other, suggestive of a spatula or similar? The head is 8mm long and 2mm thick.
