A copper-alloy Roman barbarous radiate copying a coin of Tetricus II (AD 272-274) with a reverse type of Tetricus I, dating to the period AD 275-285 (Reece period 14). [LAETITIA AVGN/AVGG] reverse type depicting Laetitia standing left holding purse and anchor. Cf. Normanby no. 1988. The coin appears to have been deliberately pierced, the triangular shape of the perforation suggesting by a knife blade or similar.

Probably Unattributed Mint. The coin survives in relatively poor condition with some edge losses, but enough detail survives to make a secure attribution to this reverse type. RIC V, pt 2, p. 543, cf. 1019-21 for various Victory types. See NMS-A14E47 for a similar type. This coin is included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.
