Medieval copper alloy ewer spout, 52mm long, 52mm wide and 16mm thick. The spout is in good condition with a brown patina. It is in the form of a dog with his mouth forming the spout. The head is quite stylised with no traces of eyes. It has rounded ears, one is slightly larger than the other. Behind the head the object curves sharply upwards and then forms a very elongated, curved spout which forms the majority of the object.

Two Iron Age, Iron and copper alloy hemispherical vessels, probably cauldrons. Recovered (on the advice of English Heritage) during an archaeological evaluation undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology Ltd.
Description - At least two vessels of very similar form but of different sizes. In addition, running beneath the larger bowl is a large iron object with a rounded terminal. Roman copper alloy object, 40mm in diameter, 13mmm wide and weighing 21grams. The object is circular in form and trapezoidal in cross section, with a hollow underside. It has a plain, circular flat centre with sloping edges. These are decorated with a border of blue enameled triangular cells. In the centre of the flat upper surface is a small circular protrusion, probably the remains of a rod to attach this base to the rest of the vessl.

Medieval copper alloy vessel rim, 73mm long, 32mm wide, 2mm thick and weighs 21.36grams. The object consists of two joining fragments of a vessel rim. The rim is marked with an indented line, c. 10mm in, running parallel with its edge. each fragment has the remains of a circular? hole punched out of it, possibly to accomodate a handle.

Iron age copper alloy escutcheon plate, probably from a cauldron? Length 50mm, width 31mm thickness 1.5mm, weight 42.31grams.
The object would have been used to secure a handle to a vessel, proabblay a cauldron. It is rectangular in form and D shaped in cross -section. It has a central curved section, 22mm deep, which has a raised lip, 5mm high, rising up at each edge and a rounded, raised 'ridge' running down its centre. The object then flattens out at each end, forming a rectangular plate with a central, circular hole, used to attach the object, and the handle, to a vessel.

The object is D shaped in cross section and rectangular in form. The plain upper half is missing, so this fragment begins with a prominant D shaped ridge running across its width. Below this the object widens into three rounded protrusions,designed to represent a lions paw.

Its three sided tapering shaft forms a plain flat inner surface, with the other two forming an outer which is decorated with three vertical linear incisions.
