Medieval copper alloy domed mount, 32mm in diameter and 8mm deep. The object is in fair condition and weighs 8.96 grams. The object is decorated with six petal-like lobes around a damaged central hole. The centre is flattened as though to accomodate something above. The object may have been a type of horse boss or other harness decoration, or perhaps a furniture fitting.

Roman copper alloy headstud brooch, 43mm long, 16mm wide and 17mm deep. The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 8.6grams. It is mising its pin but some of the uncoiled spring was retrieved with the item. It consists of short rectangular wings with stepped vertical lines which sit beside a rectangular sectioned bow. This is decorated with a riase circular stud which sits above a row of rectangular enamel cells with traces of red enamel. This sits above a stepped foot and in front of a triangular catchplate.

~~Early medieval copper alloy and gold saucer brooch, 42mm in diameter and 4mm thick The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 10.76grams. The brooch is incomplete and quite worn, only part of the original steep sided edge remains. It is decorated with a circular design with what appears to be two very devolved animals seperated by an open rectangular motif. these curl around an open circle and are enclosed by a double linear border. There is a thick line of gold near one of its edges. Its reverse contains the very worn remians of a single lug and catchplate.

The object is in good condition and consists of a complete loop with wide shoulders that are pinched where they join the oval bezel. The intaglio which is made from a green substance, shows a female portrait with very Roman features.

A copper alloy strap slide dating to the second or third century AD. It measures 21mm long, 19mm wide and 8mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 5.65grams. It is rectangular in form and section is hollow and incomplete. The front has two slightly curved surfaces which are seperated by a vertical curved band running down the centre of the surface. The object is similar to one shown in Roman buckles and military fittings by Appels and Laycock.
