six post medieval copper alloy buttons, although not identical the buttons are very similar in weight and size and were found together. The buttons are solid with sub-spherical forms and have integral loops, three of which are broken. The buttons weigh between 2.74 and 2.99 grams each and have diameters of 11 or 12mm.

Roman copper alloy rosette brooch fragment, 27mm long, 23mm wide and 3mm thick The object is in poor condition with a green patina and weighs 5.45grams. The object is sub circular and very worn. At its upper edge there is a tapering and curved protrusion, with a crescent section, which emerges at 90 degrees from the surface. Roman copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative Polden Hill (Mackreth Group 4, flat wing ends), Mackreth 2011, 4.a-4.b, 4c, Plate 46. The brooch appears to be plain and is missing its spring and catchplate, despite damage to its wings and some pitting, has a good surface patina. The wings are short and their edges have worn away. The bow is plain and has a semi-circular section and tapers to a point.It is 39mm long, 16mm wide and 12mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 7.14grams.

Late Medieval/early Post Medieval copper alloy purse bar fragment, 43mm long and 13mm wide. The object is in poor condition with a brown patina and weighs 8.81 grams. The object consists of a circular sectioned shaft, 4mm in diameter, which is attached to a spherical terminal 13mm in diameter. The terminal has a wide incised band running around its widest point at 90 degress to the bar, with a further incised line joining this band, by running across its outer surface.

A Late Iron Age to Roman copper-alloy linch pin head. It is 20mm long and 15mm in diameter. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 15.55g. The object is cylindrical and has a straight outer section at each end C.5mm wide, which contains a semi-circular recessed centre, C.7mm wide and 10mm in diameter. At each end there is a protrusion, one is rectangular and is 5mm wide and protrudes 2mm, it has possible tooling marks around its base? at the other end is a shallow raised circle with a hollow centre.

Roman copper alloy polden hill brooch, 50mm long, 18mm wide and 15mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 12.68 grams. The brooch is missing its spring, pin and most of its catchplate, but its base can be seen, 20mm long. Its wings are short but have wornaway edges. One side shows decoration of horizontal recesses flanking a small ridge. The bow is sub rectangular in section and is decorated with two vertical ridges which appear to run its length. It has pitting all over its surface.
