Medieval copper alloy vessel fragment, 44mm long, 19mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 7.15G. The fragment is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It has one flat edge which is intact and forms the rim of the vessel. It has a rounded profile is c5 mm deep and is set back slightly from the main body of the vessel. It is slightly stepped here and then has a blank section c12 mm wide and then is decorated with two closely spaced incised lines. The curve of the object is very slight, so it is a rim fragment of a large bowl or ewer?

Two medieval copper alloy vessel rim fragments from the same location. The larger fragment is 43mm in length, 22mm wide and 7mm thick with a weight of 46grams. This has a sub triangular form and a rectangular cross section with a slightly projecting rim, 14mm wide, with a slightly wider, curved lower edge. The object has a possible casting seam running vertiaclly down its length. The smaller fragment is 43mm in length, 22mm wide and 7mm thick, with a weight of 36.56gms. This is rectanglar in form and cross section and is plain.
