Medieval copper-alloy circular horse-harness pendant and its suspension mount, 42mm long, 26mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 11.69g. The object is circular in form with a rectangular hinged suspension unit. The pendant shows a lion rampant, with a two-forked tail, set in a red enamel background. Where the suspension unit is attached there is a patch of thick gilding, with further patches within the image of the lion suggesting the whole motif was gilded. It has a, now missing, suspension loop emerging from its upper edge. The object has been heavily corroded and no sign of a design or enamalling is present.

Medieval copper alloy harness pendant fragment, 44mm long, 26mm wide and 8mm thick. The object has a dark brown patina and weighs 6.16grams. The object represents the outer frame of a two piece suspended pendant. It has an integral suspension loop and is semi-circular in section and circular in form, with the upper surface formed of seperate curves which are joined by raised bands.

Late Medieval copper alloy and enamel horse harness pendant, 31mm long, 27mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 7grams. The object consists of a flat circle which is bordered by sub circular protrusions (one of which is missing). The object has a single circular suspension loop. The surface is decorated with a rope like border of blue enamel which contains a further plain border of red enamel. The reverse is plain and flat.

Medieval copper alloy harness pendant, 41mm long, 25mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 11.55grams. The pendant is shield shaped and has a suspension loop which is still attached to its fitting. The fitting consists of two semi-circular lugs which ar attached to an L shaped circular shaft. The object is corroded and no surface decoration can be seen.

The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 1.66grams. it consists of a shield shaped body which has traces of a design and patches of gilding present. The pendant hangs from an integral transverse loop 6mm long. The reverse is plain and some of the edges are damaged.

Medieval copper alloy and gold harness pendant hanger, 27mm long, 11mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in poor condition with a reddish patina and weighs 2.65 grams. The object is rectangular in form and section and is badly corroded. Its upper edge has a central rectangular recess which is flanked by curved terminals, designed to hold a pin forming a hinge. The object has a circular depression in its centre which may have held a rivet. It appears to have been decorated but nothing can be made out. There are very small patches of gilding on what is left of the surface.

Medieval copper alloy and emamel harness pendant, 43mm long, 26mm wide and 2.5mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 5.24 grams. The pendant is shield shaped and has an integral suspension loop placed at a right angle to the object. The surface is decorated with a central band filled with red enamel which contains three raised motifs resembling a capital A which represent water carriers. The rest of the field is filled with three recessed left facing birds, two above and one below. Each appears to have been filled with red enamel also.

Medieval copper alloy and enamel harness pendant, 25mm long, 23mm wid and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 3.56grams. The object is incomplete, having a sub rectangular form, with one possible orginal straight edge and no sign of a suspension loop. The object is decorated with three clear recessed crowns with trefoil terminals which are set in a bed of blue enamel.
See Ashley (2002, 21; nos 197, 198), for the similar arms of the bishopric of Ely; the blue background here suggests that this relates to Bury St Edmunds

Medieval copper alloy and gold harness pendant, 27mm long, 16mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in poor condition with a green patina and weighs 1.95 grams. The object is fragmentary and has the remains of a suspension loop in the centre of its upper edge. The upper surface is covered with bright green corrosion product and patches of gold. It is decorated with a horizontal incised line just below the loop, from which radiates further lines running down its length. The pendant was probably shield shaped but is now missing most of its edges.

The pendant is circular in form and is slightly domed with a hollow reverse. The only decoration remaining is the faint outline of a ring of raised dots running around its edge. The surface has patches of gilding and is missing a small part of its area. It has an integral suspension loop which is aligned 90o to the main body, 7mm wide and 18mm long. It is oval in form and has a small circular hole in its centre.

late Medieval copper alloy and gold harness pendant fragment, 29mm long, 14mm wide and 7mm thick. The fragment is in poor condition with blue/green corrosion and weighs 2.35grams. It consists of what is now a cruciform shaped stud which is heaviliy gilded. It has a single central rivet on its reverse, which projects through the front as well, perhaps suggesting a repair?
