Medieval copper alloy and gold harness pendant, 27mm long, 16mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in poor condition with a green patina and weighs 1.95 grams. The object is fragmentary and has the remains of a suspension loop in the centre of its upper edge. The upper surface is covered with bright green corrosion product and patches of gold. It is decorated with a horizontal incised line just below the loop, from which radiates further lines running down its length. The pendant was probably shield shaped but is now missing most of its edges.

Medieval copper alloy and gold harness pendant, 27mm long, 21mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in poor condition with a reddish/brown patina and weighs 5.46grams. The pendant is circular in form and has a worn circular? sectioned suspension fitting. The pendant shows a relief image of a lion with a stylised circular mane which is picked out in gold. This is surrounded by a decorative border also picked out in gold.

Medieval copper-alloy harness pendant, 28mm long, 22mm wide and 1mm thick. The object is in poor condition with a brown patina and weighs 2.61 g. The object is circular in form and is slightly dished. It appears to be decorated with several 'swiggly' lines, although the object is quite worn so it may be missing a part of its pattern. It has an integral offset loop, 5.5mm long and 3mm wide.

The pendant is shield shaped and has a suspension loop which is still attached to its fitting. The fitting consists of two semi-circular lugs which ar attached to an L shaped circular shaft. The object is corroded and no surface decoration can be seen.

A part of early Roman copper alloy military horse harness pendant (Bishop and Coulston 2006, Fig. 70) or a peltate mount (Appels and Laycock 2007, pp. 126). Very similar object, described as military harness pendant, is recorded in the Portable Antiquities and Treasure Annual Report 2008, no 93, and dated to AD 43-100. Due to corrosion the original shape is hard to determine, however it appears that the object might represent an oak leaf with acorn terminals (Appels and Laycock 2007 Fig. AA14.15 and AA14.16). Medieval copper alloy and enamel harness pendant, 32mm long, 25mmm wide and 3mm thick. The object is sub-rhomboid (square with corners aligned top and bottom) in form and is decorated with a central square box containing a backwards facing quadreped, presumambly a lion, picked out in silver on a blue/purple field. This is surrounded by a field of red enamel which contains a fluer de lis emerging from each side of the central square, also picked out in silver. The suspension loop is incomplete and the reverse is plain but has a patch of further silver.

Medieval copper alloy harness pendant, 34mm long, 33mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition but has been folded and weighs 15.35grams. It appears to consist of two rectangular plates which are joind by a hinge mechanism. There is also another section protruding to one side which may be part of a fixing plate. Each of the rectangular plates is decorated with a motif resembling a scallop shell and consisting of sub-rectangular cells filled with white enamel. This sits in a shield (cabuchon) shaped border infilled with red enamel.

The object is incomplete, having a sub rectangular form, with one possible orginal straight edge and no sign of a suspension loop. The object is decorated with three clear recessed crowns with trefoil terminals which are set in a bed of blue enamel. See Ashley (2002, 21; nos 197, 198), for the similar arms of the bishopric of Ely; the blue background here suggests that this relates to Bury St Edmunds

The pendant is circular in form and is slightly domed with a hollow reverse. The only decoration remaining is the faint outline of a ring of raised dots running around its edge. The surface has patches of gilding and is missing a small part of its area. It has an integral suspension loop which is aligned 90o to the main body, 7mm wide and 18mm long. It is oval in form and has a small circular hole in its centre.

The object has a rombus (diamond) form and has an integral suspension loop 6mm in diameter. The decoration is very fine and consists of an ornate red lion standing on its hind legs. This is contained in a white border, consisting of a six petalled flower in each corner which is joined by a row of three solid semi-circles.
