Roman copper alloy brooch foot, 25mm long, 7mm wide and 5mm thick with a weight of 1.71g. The foot consists of a sub triangular catch plate with a slight turn on its outer edge. This is attached to the base of a bow that is sub-triangular in cross section, having a flat reverse and a prominent central ridge running down its front.

Iron Age copper alloy bow brooch, 63mm in length, 16mm wide, 8mm thick with a weight of 12.25g. The brooch has a sub rectangular head which is formed of a spring of four coils. Below this it has a curved bow with a D shaped cross section and incised linear border on its outer face. The terminal (toe) turns backwards and has a D shaped cross section and terminates with two flat circular motifs, the outer one slightly smaller, and this terminates in a small sub rectangular knop. The brooch fits Adams type 1c. See SF-FA2893.

Early Medieval copper alloy small long brooch, 33mm in length, 27mm wide, 10mm thick with a weight of 7.73g. The brooch is incomplete, missing its foot and consists of a head plate with three integral semi-circular knops, with a double collar. This has very crisp decoration in the form of two vertical rows of incised dots flanking a central saltaire. The rounded, arched bow also has the same incised border down each edge. The reverse of the head plate has two semi-circular shaped projections, housing an intact iron spring.

Roman? copper alloy penannular brooch terminal? 38mm in length, 6mm wide, 4mm thick with a weight of 2.76g. The object consists of the terminal of a probable annular brooch. It has a D shaped cross section and at its flat terminal end is 6mm wide and 4mm deep. It tapers in width to the point it has broken off and here it is 3mm wide and 2mm deep. It is very corroded so no decoration is visible.

Late Iron Age to early Roman copper alloy Le Tene III bow brooch, 33mm in length, 5mm wide, with a weight of 2.05g. The brooch consists of a partial spring of two coils with a small lipped projection above and very short sub rectangular flat wings below. The bow is sub -circular in cross section and slightly curved, tapering to a point at its base. Behind this sits a sub rectangular catch plate with two small circular holes, one above the other, in its centre.

At one end it joins an incomplete rounded plate with has raised elongated triangles running from its edge to the base of the bow. Roman copper alloy gilded plate brooch, 19mm in length, 12mm wide, with a weight of 2.84grams. The object is oval in form and rectangular in cross section. It has a gilded outer border decorated with a row of raised X motifs in a tight row, which is heavily gilded but incomplete. The inside has a damaged raised oval border and a recess which would have housed a stone. The reverse has the remains of a long sub rectangular catch plate and a corresponding semi-circular pin lug. The brooch is similar to NLM-E9BD1B, LIN-BD2A26 and OXON-8ECB45.

Roman copper alloy 'bow and fantail' bow brooch, 29mm long, 14mm wide and 12mm thick with a weight of 5.50g. The brooch is rather crudely made and has circular cross sectioned, solid short wings which would have housed a hinged pin, now missing. The bow has a rectangular cross sectioned curved shaft which widens out into a flat triangular plate. This has a plain raised border surrounding a triangular recess. This is filled with a single central raised triangle, creating three triangular recesses which probably held enamel. The reverse of this has a small sub triangular catch plate.

The object is rectangular in form and cross section and forms the upper part of the bow of a cruciform or small long brooch and consists of one half which is plain and has a bowed form with a rounded upper surface. The second half is flat and rectangular with slight traces of probable lappets to each side. The reverse of this houses a centrally placed, sub rectangular catch plate.
