Medieval copper alloy harness pendant, 39mm in length, 24mm wide, 7mm thick with a weight of 7.19g. The pendant is scutiform (rectangular upper portion, triangular lower) and has an incomplete transverse suspension loop in the centre of its upper surface. It is decorated with a rampant lion with a probable bend sinister behind. It is similar to an example in Museum of London Medieval catalogue, type I, 2a.

It is decorated with a saltaire cross with a zigzag pattern pickedout in gilding. In each quarter are 3? flower motifs. There are four circular holes, one at each cardinal point (upper one filled).
