Iron Age copper alloy bow brooch, 63mm in length, 16mm wide, 8mm thick with a weight of 12.25g. The brooch has a sub rectangular head which is formed of a spring of four coils. Below this it has a curved bow with a D shaped cross section and incised linear border on its outer face. The terminal (toe) turns backwards and has a D shaped cross section and terminates with two flat circular motifs, the outer one slightly smaller, and this terminates in a small sub rectangular knop. The brooch fits Adams type 1c. See SF-FA2893.

Late Iron Age to early Roman copper alloy Le Tene III bow brooch, 33mm in length, 5mm wide, with a weight of 2.05g. The brooch consists of a partial spring of two coils with a small lipped projection above and very short sub rectangular flat wings below. The bow is sub -circular in cross section and slightly curved, tapering to a point at its base. Behind this sits a sub rectangular catch plate with two small circular holes, one above the other, in its centre.

The object has half of a coiled spring at its head and has a rectangular shaped and cross sectioned bow. This is curved and has a chevron collar at its shoulder. It continues with no decoration to a chunky rectangular shaped catch plate.

Iron age - Roman copper alloy cosmetic mortar fragment, 17mm long, 13mm wide and 11mm thick with a weight of 9.87g. The mortar is crescentric in form and semi-circular in cross section with a slightly hollow upper surface. It is extremely worn and corroded and has no diagnostic features except for partial central suspension loop on its curved face.

Late Iron age - early Roman copper alloy bow brooch, 56mm long, 15mm wide and 8mm thick with a weight of 20.31g. The brooch has a triangular cross sectioned curved bow which terminates in a plain head with a semi-circular plate protruding from the centre with two circular holes to hold a spring, now missing. One hole is filled with iron. The bow has a prominent ridge, is plain and tapers in width to a flat base plate, whose reverse houses a rectangular catch plate. Late Iron age to early Roman copper alloy Le Tene III bow brooch, 37mm in length, 9mm wide and 3mm thick with a weight of 2.98grams. The brooch is intact except for its pin. It consists of a circular cross sectioned curved bow which gradually widens and becomes sub rectangular in cross section towards its base to accommodate a very shallow catch plate. At its head it is a spring of four coils attached by a fold under the bow.

Iron Age copper alloy beaded Torc fragment? 20mm in length, 12mm wide and 7mm thick with a weight of 3.5g. The object is rectangular in form with a V shaped cross section. The upper surface is formed of two sub spherical projections which are separated by a rectangular shaped recess. The objects underside has a V shaped recess. Roman copper alloy Colchester type bow brooch, 42mm long, 16mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 5.57g. The object is worn and incomplete and consists of sub rectangular shaped, curved open wings, now missing the sping and pin. It has a semi-circular cross sectioned bow which is decorated with a simple ridge, with transverse incised lines, running its length. The bow is missing its base and is damaged where it begins to widen out to form a now missing openwork catchplate (the two portions can just be seen).

Iron age copper alloy mount. The object is oval in form and rectangular in cross section. It consists of two circular framed recesses which just butt up against one another in the centre of the object. The reverse of these is flat with a hole in the centre? These two circles are joined above and below by two U shaped, circular cross sectioned shafts. The object is probably a sliding harness mount or a componenet of a large mount. No info referring to its completeness has been recorded.

The brooch has a flat bow with a rectangular cross section and it has an integral spring which emerges from the narrowing plate and projects bakwards and then winds into a loop at its head. The brooch is missing its lower portion and is heavily corroded. Length: 26 mm, width: 6 mm, weight: 1.52 g.

Late Iron Age - Roman copper alloy Langton Down brooch, Length: 20 mm, width: 18 mm, thickness: 6 mm, weight: 2.49 grams. The brooch is incomplete and in poor condition . It consists of a hollow circular cross sectioned head plate (now damaged) and from the front of this a rectangular tapering bow, with slightly rounded upper surface, emerges. This appears to have vertical ridges running down its surface, but is in poor condition and in complete.

The object consists of most of an annular brooch with a flat rectangular cross sectioned loop and a terminal consisting of a folded over rectangle of the loop, 4mm thick and 7mm long.
