The brooch is formed of a circular flat central plate (very worn) which has a central pellet of red enamel in a circular border, flanked by six triangular motifs. The brooch consists of short wings with two vertical incisions running down each edge behind this is a spring of five coils around a rectangular bar. The bow has a D shaped section with a flattish surface decorated with two vertical ridges near each edge and a central V shaped protrusion running up and over the spring. The brooch has traces of silvering over its surface and is complete except for the catch-plate and spring.

Two Late Medieval copper alloy annular brooches. The frames have a circular section with a circular sectioned pin which is attached by a loop formed of its end. The first is 42mm in diameter with a narrower width at 4mm and weighs 11.31 grams. This example has a pronounced rectangular section at the neck of the pin. The second (lower photo) is 48mm in diameter, 5mm wide and weighs 33.5 grams. It has no decoration.

Medieval copper alloy brooch or mount? 17mm long and wide and 4mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a dark grey patina and weighs 4.68grams. It consists of a lozenge (rhombus) shaped rectangular sectioned loop which has raised arrow shaped motifs in each corner, these consist of a raised triangle, pointing inwards, with a line emerging from the apex out towards the edge. The object is probably a small brooch, or possibly a mount, although there are no signs of any fixing prongs.
