It consits of two parts, one is a solid dome with a rounded upper edge and the other is a flat plate which is attached by a hidden mechanism. The object may be a two part belt mount perhaps?

Medieval copper alloy seal matrix, 21mm in diameter, 2mm thick and weighing 4.37g. The object consists of a short hexagonal tapering shaft with a double collar sitting below a large integral suspension loop, which is filled with iron corrosion. The shaft terminates in a shield shaped matrix, 13 x 14mm. This depicts Mary suckling Jesus, its edges are worn so the inscription is hard to read, possibly reads RO----EDIV The form is similar to SF-79CCC7 LEIC-55B0CC SUR-EA3B3B, though none of these have a religious image.

Early Post Medieval copper alloy knife handle terminal, 24mm long, 16mm wide and 8mm thick with a weight of 10.23g. The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section and has two short extending oval cross sectioned 'arms' projecting from its upper corners horizontally. It has a small, sub spherical muzzled head in the centre of its upper surface and its lower third widens out containing traces of an iron blade running across the centre of its base. Early Post Medieval copper alloy belt fitting, 31mm long, 17mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 2.86g. The object consists of a circular shaped and cross sectioned loop with a small tri-lobed terminal. This has with two circular fixing holes at each side lobe, one still has an iron rivet in place. There is a possible third hole in the central lobe and these would have attached the object to a sword belt or similar.

Late Iron age to early Roman copper alloy Le Tene III bow brooch, 37mm in length, 9mm wide and 3mm thick with a weight of 2.98grams. The brooch is intact except for its pin. It consists of a circular cross sectioned curved bow which gradually widens and becomes sub rectangular in cross section towards its base to accommodate a very shallow catch plate. At its head it is a spring of four coils attached by a fold under the bow.

Roman copper alloy finger ring, 19mm in length, 13mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 4.01grams. The ring is missing most of its loop and has an oval shaped bezel with a sub rectangular cross section. This has a raised lip which surrounds a concave surface containing three sub-crescentric recesses which have possible traces of red enamel. The form of the ring conforms to Henig type 1, Guiraud type 1b/2a. The decoration is unusual but is of a similar style to KENT-EB629B

It has a double collar at each end where it merges into the main frame.
