Two Early Medieval to Medieval lead alloy spindle whorls.
The smaller one is 28mm in diameter and is circular in form and sub rectangular in cross section with a central hole, 12mm in diameter. It has aligned transverse depression on one face, which would have secured the pin holding the whorl on its staff. This conforms to Walton Rogers Form B, 900-1200AD.
The larger is 30mm in diameter with a circular form and a D shaped cross section. This conforms to Walton Rogers form A1 which she dates to 500-1000AD

Lead Papal Bulla of Innocent IIII (1243-1254), 37mm in diameter and 4mm thick. The front surface shows the image of St Peter and St Paul flanking a cross. The whole image is set in a beaded border. The reverse has the inscription 'INNO//CENTIVS//PP IIII'

Lead ampulla 49mm high, 33mm wide and 12mm thick. The object is round at the base becoming oblong and tapering out slightly towards the top, forming the shape of a leather pouch (or purse) on the left side one of the handles is still present. The whole object is decorated with a geometric pattern formed of straight lines. it may have a stylised plant in the middle as shapes resembling leaves are present. Recorded at the Hidden Treasures roadshow in Market Harborough.

Lead alloy miniature halberd, 21mm high and 23mm wide. It is quite decorative and may have been a childs toy? The shaft appears to be complete and is made up of two circular knops the lower of which has a pointed end. The head is fixed into a square section and is flared, it has curvilinear forms engraved into its surface.

Medieval lead alloy ampulla, 47mm long, 36mm wide and 10mm deep. The ampulla is in good condition with a white patina. It is in the form of a shell and is complete except for one missing lug. The ampulla has traces of decoration on one side in the form of a raised outline of a five petalled flower or star.

Early post medieval cloth seal, 15mm in diameter and 1mm thick. The seal has a Portullis design with the letters S and R at each upper corner, above this is a crown. There is a central square hole which the second half of the seal would have protruded through. The reverse is plain. The design may be a copy of a coin of Elizabeth which shows this portcullis?

Medieval lead spindle whorl, 30mm in diameter and 10mm wide. This is circular on form and bi-conical in cross section. It is decorated on both faces with raised lines and dots. It has been mis cast, its hollow and has a large patch of leaked lead attached to it.
The whorl fits Walton Rogers Form C which she dates to 1100-1500AD
