Roman copper alloy sesterius which has been re-shaped, 39mm long and 15mm wide. The coin has flanges along its length which appear to have been a by-product of the u shaped depression formed along its outer edges, perhaps it was altered to fit inside something? The obverse shows a laureate bust facing right and the reverse still clearly shows a female figure standing.
