Late saxon silver penny of Baldred of Kent, 19mm in diameter, 1mm thick and 1.15grams in weight. The penny is a Group I bonnet type penny which dates to 823-825 and shows a bonneted bust facing right. The inscription reads +BELDRE[D]R[EX CA]NT. The reverse shows a two line inscription reading DRUR/CITS which is surrounded by the moneyers inscription [SIGE]STEFMONET. The coin is in good overall condition but fragile. Three sections of the edge have broken off which makes reading the full inscription difficult.

Medieval voided long cross penny of Henry III, 18mm in diameter, 1mm thick and weighing 1.39 grams. The coin is in good condition with slight wear around its edges. It has a good silver patina, with the reverse only struck slightly off centre. The obverse shows forward facing bust with sceptre in border. Inscription reads HENRICUS REX III. Reverse shows voided long cross and pellets. Inscription reads NICOLE ONCANT The coin is a type 5b and was minted in Canterbury.
