Late Medieval copper alloy stirrup shaped buckle frame, 27mm long, 17mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 1.51 g. The buckle is a single loop, D-shaped buckle with decorative knop extending from the curved edge. The knop has a single narrow collar and is flat on the reverse side. The strap bar is recessed and the pin is missing. Similar to DENO-08D511. Several similar examples are illustrated in the Meols report (Griffiths et al. 2007, 94, no.622ff).

The object has a D shaped cross section, with a narrow flat lower surface and is circular in form with a central hole, 7mm in diameter. It has no decoration. This form fits Walton Rogers class A2, which she dates to 700-1100AD

Medieval copper alloy buckle with integral frame, 48mm long, 23mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 7.05grams . The buckle is oval in form and has a rectangular cross section, its only decoration is a protruding triangular pin rest. The loop is attached to two tapering rectangular cross sectioned prongs, placed either side of the pin recess. These would have held a decorated plate, the object dates to 1250-1450.

Medieval copper alloy harness pendant fragment? 44mm long, 28mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 4.92 grams. The object is semi-circular in form and rectangular in cross section. It represensta bout half of a circular pendant. It has no visible decoration but does have what appears to be a partial suspension loop and a projecting semi-circle of metal which is now folded over onto itself. The object is probably an incomplete harness pendant.

Medieval lead alloy pendant, 45mm long, 37mm wide and 5mm thick with a weight of 46.05grams. The pendant in intact and has a sub circular form and a rectangular cross section. It has an integral projecting suspension loop and is decorated on both sides. One side shows a saint with halo picked out by three projections emerging from the stylised head at three cardinal points. Early medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 17mm high, 29mm in diameter and weighing 69.96grams. The object has a trapezoidal form and a circular cross section. It has a 10mm diameter central hole and a flat upper and lower surface. The sloping edges of the whorl are decorated with a series of raised lines with some projections (see second image). Early Roman copper alloy colchester type bow brooch, 40mm long, 4mm wide and thick and weighing 5.16grams. The brooch consists of very short rectangular wings whhich are missing the spring.
