Late Medieval to early Post Medieval lead alloy button, 24mm in diameter, 9mm thick with a weight of 13.09grams. The button is circular in form and slight D shaped cross section. It had a flat underside with a clear casting seam containing an integral circular fixing loop (now damaged). Its surface has a raised border of small domed circles and inside this is a flower like motif formed of a central knop and six radiating 'petals' in between these are six domed circle in pellet motifs.

Post Medieval silver button, 14mm long, 12mm in diameter and weighing 1.54g. The button is spherical and hollow with a projecting 'nipple' 2mm in diameter, on the centre of its outer surface. Its has an integral circular sewing loop on its reverse, flanked by two small circular holes. Around the 'nipple' is incised decoration in the form of a six petalled double layered flower resembling a Tudor rose motif. Late Medieval or early post Medieval lead alloy button, 1400-1700. diameter: 27 mm, thickness 19mm, weight: 25.57 g. The button is circular in form with a D shaped cross section. Its domed upper surface is decorated with a voided raised cross and a central semi-spherical boss. Each quarter has two raised arches. It has traces of iron loop in the centre of its underside. The button is similar BUC-415532 but without lead loop. The lack of parallels for an iron loop would suggest this is a repair.

Early post Medieval (Tudor) copper alloy button, 17mm long and 10mm in diameter. The object is in fair condition and consists of a sub- rectangular plate with a circular fixing hole in its centre. This is integrally attached to the base of a solid conical button which has short deep incisions running from its base up to its apex which is marked by a sub spherical knop.

Medieval lead alloy button, 27mm long, 23mm wide and 15mm thick. The button is in good condition with a grey patina and weighs 15.60grams The button is oval in form and sub-triangular in section. It has a domed upper surface which is decorated with raised lines radiating towards its centre. its reverse has an integral rectangular loop.

Early post Medieval copper alloy button, 10mm in diameter and 12mm deep. The object is in good condition, with a bronze patina, and weighs 3.34grams. The object is spherical with a flatterned lower surface and appears to be solid. It has the remains of an integral loop protruding from the middle of its base. The loop is formed from a sheet and has a circular hole cut out of it. It has scratches all over one side suggesting it was hand finished.
