Roman copper alloy hair pin, 30mm in length and 3.5mm in diameter with a weight of 2.76grams. The pin is missing most of its shaft, but consists of a circular cross sectioned shaft which sits below a rectangular cross sectioned head (5mm wide) which is decorated with two thin, then one wide and concave depression, followed by a final narrow depression. This forms rectangular cross sectioned collars - a wide collar flanked by two narrow ones, then a gap and a final thin collar. Late Roman copper alloy bowl, diameter c.400-450mm (the rim present measures 380mm and is almost half the diameter), total weight of all fragments, 1132grams (including soil). The bowl is now in many fragments but would have been round and has a central 'umbo' a slightly raised domed area in the centre of its base. This is contained by two bands of two incised circles, 20mm apart with an overall diameter of 120mm. The rim - has an outward turned rim c10mm wide. Early Roman copper alloy colchester type bow brooch, 40mm long, 4mm wide and thick and weighing 5.16grams. The brooch consists of very short rectangular wings whhich are missing the spring. It has a semi-circular sectioned long, gently curving bow which tapers to a point and whose base houses the remains of an openwork catchplate.
