Early Medieval lead spindle whorl, 20mm thick and 33mm in diameter with a weight of 53.00grams. '. The object is circular in form and trapezoidal in cross section with an irregular form and central hole 8mm in diameter. The whorl conforms to Walton Rogers form A2., which she dates to 700-1100AD.

Post Medieval lead alloy token, 1707 - 1800? Thickness: 1 mm, diameter: 15 mm, weight: 1.23 g. The token is circular in form and rectangular in cross section. It is decorated on one face with the combined coats of arms of England and Scotland in a shield with a crown above. This is flanked by a I and a 1/2. The combined coat of arms suggest a post Act of Union, 1707 date.

Late Medieval or early post Medieval lead alloy button, 1400-1700. diameter: 27 mm, thickness 19mm, weight: 25.57 g. The button is circular in form with a D shaped cross section. Its domed upper surface is decorated with a voided raised cross and a central semi-spherical boss. Each quarter has two raised arches. It has traces of iron loop in the centre of its underside. The button is similar BUC-415532 but without lead loop. The lack of parallels for an iron loop would suggest this is a repair.

Late medieval copper alloy weight, 1400-1500. Thickness: 4 mm, diameter: 18 mm, weight: 5.58 g The weight is circular in form and rectangular in cross section. It has a raised upper border and is stamped with a crown and a possible second symbol on either side of a central circular recess. Biggs (p.48) notes 15th century weights which were just stamped with a crown and also comments that they are similiar to coin weights which are also stamped with a lis, used to weigh nobles and dating to the 1420s.

Early Medieval copper alloy small long brooch, 67mm in length, 69mm wide and 7mm thick with a weight of 12.87grams. The brooch has a flat, rectangular shaped head plate which has a border formed of stamped dot and ring motifs with incised short lines running from them to the edge of the pate. The brooch has a very small bow, and a rounded projection towards the base of the bow. It has a flared terminal. There is a short catchplate on the centre of the reverse, and an iron concretion at the pin lug. The brooch dates to AD450 - AD550.
