Post Medieval lead alloy cloth seal, c.1600-1700AD. Thickness: 3 mm, diameter: 16 mm, weight: 1.87 grams. The seal is sub-circular and incomplete and was probably a two part seal. It is decorated on one surface with a three part castle with central tower and gate with large door in front. This is flanked by turrets, each one has an enlarged arrow slit - a vertical slit with rounded terminals. Each turret has a domed roof with spherical finial and a lipped edge below. Medieval? lead alloy pilgrim badge, 20mm long 18mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 3.27g. The object is rectangular in form and cross section and depicts a bearded? figure with a possible halo of pellets or a headress around its head. The figure has its arms raised upwards by its head (in an attitude of early Christian prayer?) and is wearing a long sleeved tunic decorated with raised curved lines which run down the sleeves and converge in the middle of the body. Medieval lead alloy ampulla, 33mm long, 36mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a grey patina and weighs 26.31grams. The object consists of the lower half of a bag shaped ampulla which appears to be plain on one side and on the other has a crowned W, for Walsingham.
