An incomplete cast copper alloy harness pendant of medieval date. The harness pendant is lozenge shaped with a thin rectangular section. A circular suspension loop projects from the upper corner of the pendant. One face is decorated with an incised design of an indeterminable zoomorphic figure, or possibly two entwined beasties. The presence of clawed feet suggest the animal may be a type of bird. Red and blue enamel survives within the decorated field and pick out some of the main details on the design. A very fine example of a cast lead ampulla. Ampullae were an important kind of pilgrim souvenir in the medieval period. They were designed to contain a dose of thaumaturgic water, which would have been given to the pilgrims at the shrines and holy wells (Spencer, 1990 (part 2), p. 86). This example dates to between circa 1350-1530. All of the ampulla survives; apart from one lug which has broken off. The rim has been pinched to seal it. An incomplete cast copper alloy oval harness pendant of medieval date. The front surface of the oval bears an indiscernible design. The reverse is undecorated. The sides of the pendant are badly damaged. The remains of a suspension loop project from the top of the oval although the loop itself is missing. The metal is a dark greenish-brown colour and is very worn and corroded. Harness pendants of this type date to the 13th or 14th century.

A cast copper alloy plate probably from a mount or buckle plate. The plate is lozenge shaped, but appears to have broken off of a much larger piece. There are no visible signs of attachment. The front surface is decorated with incised decoration. There is a crude incised line forming a border around the edge of the plate and there are three rows of rocker-arm zig-zags, in paralllel rows along the longest axis of the plate. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour. The reverse is coated in some corroded material.

An incomplete cast copper alloy mount, possibly related to harness fittings. The mount is formed from a plate of copper alloy with has a tinned surface. It is rectangular, with a pointed terminal. The terminal has a faceted upper surface and retains a copper alloy rivet. Adjacent to this is a rectangular collar, decorated with incised diagonal lines. A further two faceted sections comes next, with collars decorated in the same way dividing them. It is after this that the break has occurred. A complete cast copper alloy strap end of medieval date. It has become bent in the centre, widthways. It is formed from two plates of copper alloy. Each one is sub-rectangular, they appear to have been soldered together at the terminal end. The terminal is in the shape of an acorn, with a pointed knop and a wide collar. An elaborate cast copper alloy harness pendant suspension mount. The main body of the pendant is lozenge shaped, with trefoil extensions projecting from each of the four corners. An incomplete cast copper alloy buckle of medieval date. The buckle is a single looped D-shape with a narrowed and offset strap bar. The buckle has a wide outer edge and is decorated with a moulded wavy design. The underside of the outer edge is concave. The pin is missing. The metal is a dark greenish-brown colour and is worn. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead, p.19 and is dated to circa 1250-1500.

An incomplete cast copper alloy belt fitting. The object is formed from a strip of copper alloy. One terminal is broken but features a large, circular ring, with a circular perforation. It is flanked either side by a thin collar. The piece then extends into a strip of copper alloy with a D-shaped section. The terminal is rounded and features a rivet hole. The copper alloy rivet remains in situ, it is bent. The metal is a dark brownish-green colour and only slightly pitted. A similar belt fitting can be seen in Egan and Pritchard, p214, fig: 134.
