A worn and incomplete cast copper-alloy Iron Age brooch, probably of the La Tène I era. The brooch is oval in shape, convex and lunular in section. A worn and incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman brooch of the Langton Down type. The brooch is missing its pin mechanism, the pin itself, and the foot and catchplate, while much of the head has abraded away. The surviving head features a characteristically cylindrical hood. The curve from head through to bow goes through ninety degrees, as is typical. The bow has a flat reverse and a moulded obverse face. Possible decorative longitudinal reeding is visible on the bow's upper surface. The brooch has corroded to its present red-brown colour with areas of green copper disease.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy padlock of post-medieval date. It is circular in form with two protuding lugs at the top to take the bar; the bar is missing. This latter may have been made of iron given the orange corrosion product found on the lugs. Longitudinally central on both faces is a raised rectangular field. This is divided into three squares with incised borders. On one face each square contains a cross in saltire. On the other face the central of the three crosses is replaced by a keyhole with raised circular element in its centre. On both faces the central square is …

A very worn and corroded cast copper-alloy fragment, possibly from a Bronze Age blade. The object has shallow facets and is sub-triangular in cross-section. It is sub-pentagonal in shape having suffered a fracture at one end. It has suffered losses and is thus hard to identify, however the slight nature of the fragment may suggest a later dirk, small rapier, knife or dagger.

A pseudo-zoomorphic cast copper-alloy spout possibly from a ewer or laver of later medieval or post-medieval date. The hollow spout is tubular, curving gradually, with facted sides. There is an transverse ridge on the upper surface, running down the sides, around a third of the way down the artefact. This has a central groove and is reminiscent of the ears on contemporary spouts that terminate in a dog's head with open mouth. The copper alloy now has an even, mid-light green patina.
