A copper alloy possible contemporary copy of a Roman nummus (maiorina) of Magnentius (AD 350-353), dating to the period AD 351-353 (Reece Period 18). VICTORIAE DD NN AVG ET CAE reverse type, depicting two Victories, winged, draped, standing facing each other, holding between them wreath inscribed VOT/V/MVLT/X surmounted by ☧. Mint of Lyon. RIC VIII Lugdunum 145/7; LRBC ii 229/231.
The coin was identified by Edward Besly as a contemporary copy. This might be due to it being underweight, but otherwise the coin appears to be official.
