The find comprises six post-medieval English coins, of Elizabeth I and Charles I, with a face value at the time of £0 10s 6d; as received at Amgueddfa Cymru, they appear to have been cleaned. No associated objects were reported. The find represents a small, but typical assemblage from the period of the 'English' Civil War, with the coins worn through circulation roughly in proportion to their age when lost or deposited.
