The find comprises sixteen silver coins: thirteen English groats, 1352/3-1526/9; one half-groat of Henry VII (1485-1509); and two double patards from the Burgundian Netherlands (1467-74). No associated items were reported. The latest coins in the group (nos 11-14) all belong to the early years of Henry VIII's second coinage, struck between 1526 and 1529, giving a consistent terminus in the late 1520s.
