Copper alloy hooked strap fitting/sword belt fitting. The plate is triangular in plan with a concave underside. The top edge has a V-shape notch in the centre, the side taped down to the penannular rolled hook.
Two close parallels for this object are noted in Margeson 1993 'Norwich Households: Medieval and Post-Medieval Finds from Norwich Survey Excavations 1971-78'. 38, refs: 257-258. These objects are dated to the 16th or 17th centuries and Margeson notes that they were probably associated with sword belts or similar hooked mounts.

Copper alloy bar mount that has a D-shaped cross-section. There is a rivet hole at either end that still retain the copper alloy pin rivet, who’s head is flush with the bar. In the centre of the bare is a large circular hole the has internal chamfered sides, perhaps where it was drilled through from the rear.

A complete copper-alloy swivel strap fitting of medieval date c.AD 1100-1500.
The fitting comprises a trapezoid-shaped loop with a moulded hemispherical base that has ring-and-dot decoration running around its circumference. Projecting from the base is a circular cross section pin that would have been inserted in to a corresponding loop.
Similar fittings have been recorded with the PAS, including SWYOR-372D27, WILT-526C06, and BH-627766 for complete examples

Copper alloy strap fitting in the shape of a bird facing right. The body of the bird is oval in from and set at a diagonal running from top left to bottom right, this has two recess lines on the left and one to the right, presumably to resemble feathers. Above is a circular projection for the head, this is underrated, apart from a pointed right side for the beak. Opposite on the bottom edge is a second projecting sub-circle, this time with a slightly pointed base in order to represent the tail feathers of the bird.

Copper alloy mount in the form single fleur-de-lis. This has three pointed arms that are divided by groves. The lower section expands outwards slightly to form the base of the lis. Two separate copper alloy pins are mounted on the reverse to form rivet. These still retain a sheet square rivet plate at their base.

A complete copper alloy swivel strap fitting dating to the medieval period 1150-1450. The object comprises a pair of oval shaped loops, c.8.85mm in internal diameter. The two loops are articulated together on a pivot which is integrally cast on one loop and sits within a hole in the base of the other. The patina is light green and brown.
