An incomplete copper alloy needle [possibly for netting] dating from the Roman to Post Medieval period (AD 43 - 1700). The needle is rectangular in cross section, and exhibits a rounded upper terminal which tapers into the shaft. This terminates in a break. An oval aperture is present at the rounded end.

A worn medieval copper alloy barb-spring barrel padlock The object is partially intact and consists of a hollow hexagonal tube which has faint traces of decoration in the form of a zigzag with chevrons either side. At one end the tube is partially enclosed with a plate that has a E shaped hole for the key. On one side just below this is a small rectangular plate with a 2mm diameter perforation through it.

A copper-alloy bar mount dating to the medieval period. The mount comprises a central oval body, which is convex in section. The upper surface of the body is decorated with a central, vertical band of ribs and grooves. The central rib is knurled. From the body, there extend two spherical, pierced lugs. Each piercing contains a small, circular-section rivet.

About half cast copper alloy double loop buckle frame. The pin is missing. The loop is oval with bevelled inner edges. The outer edges of the loop is sdlightly expanded. The integral centre bar is narrrowed from the frame and D-shaped in cross section. There is a small knop in the frame at either end of the bar. The buckle is undecorated. The rear is flat. Whitehead (1996) illustrates similar oval buckles with bevelled inside edges and narrowed strap bars on page 54, nos.305 & 310, which are dated from c.1500-1650.

An incomplete Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1350-c. 1650). The pin is missing and there is a pinrest notch in the frame. The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear. Each loop is similar in size, oval in plan but slightly distorted. The narrowed bar is sub-triangular in cross-section.
