A non calcareous type stone in the form of a possible small axehead. Measuring 74mm in length, 45mm in width and 20mm in thickness. The stone is broad, though not particulary sharp, the convex blade end narrows to a rounded butt. All edges show similar sharpness and lenticular cross-section, which is not totally uniform. This may suggest that this is natural glacial erractic rather than a small axehead, though it is possible that the original surface has been lost to erosion, as occurs on some other examples of stone axeheads.
