Copper alloy strap end. A plain narrow straight-sided slightly tapered bar or plate with a pair of rounded terminal rivets passing through its concave butt end, the ends of the rivets being burred. The lack of decoration leaves this object outside Thomas’s typology, which expressly excludes the plain strap ends accompanying his more diagnostic types.
