The object is cast from lead or lead alloy, circular in plan with an off-centre, integral dome. At the apex of the dome there is a shallow knop. The underside of the object is plain and the surface of the whole object is a mottled mid-grey colour. It measures 22.17mm diameter, 10.10mm tall and weighs 24.87g. The condition of the object suggests a Post Medieval date, but it's function is not known. It could be a type of weight, but it would be an unusual one, or it could be the fill to an object such as a bronze harness mount/blinker.
