Lower Palaeolithic core knapped from a bunter cobble from the Triassic period. The core is an irregular shape and has had flakes removed from multiple faces. Eight flakes have been removed revealing a mid brown-grey colour with an external surface being a mid brown colour. The edges of the scars are still fresh, suggesting it has not been rolled or weathered. There are two parallel larger scars which provides the striking platform for at least four others scars which are therefore perpendicular to the larger scar forming the striking platform. A complete Medieval cast copper-alloy circular uniface coin weight for a noble (1412-1464). Withers & Withers 1995: 34 and 68. This coin weight is rectangular in cross-section. At the front there is a stamped lis with a crown above within a circumferential groove situated close to the centre around a low-relief circular cell. A complete lead or lead alloy biconvex spindle whorl, of probable Medieval dating (AD1100 to AD 1500). The spindle whorl is sub-circular in plan, with a central, circular perforation extending vertically through the object (internal diameter 9.26mm). The sides of the spindle whorl are slightly convex and have a repeating pattern of vertical grooves and ridges.
